Welcome to the 5th season of Water + Women 2025, Yellow Petal's signature summer session.
2025 is a 9 year in numerology. A year of completion, release, shedding, transformation, rebirth. The women who come through the portal this year are on a precipice of rebirth. They are closing a chapter and our watershed is a part of their support team accompanying them to the next chapter.
This collection is all about documenting the sacred relationship women have with their LifeSource (our watershed), whatever that might look like to you.
I’ve witnessed:
Some women sit on the River’s edge, while others bathe, completely nude, in the Ocean.
Some women pray in the Rain, while others float in the middle of a Lake.
Some women light candles and hum a gentle rhythm while caressing Her formless essence.
Some women gather in pairs to explore their wilderness together.
Some women nourish themselves in various ways, while the water serenades their existence.
Some women stand at a distance, with a fixed gaze on her mesmerizing flow.
Some women arrive with tools that help magnify Her glow.
I'm looking forward to seeing what stories come through this portal this year.
